As you you’ll know I’m very fond of the adidas nmd italia ranges from Adidas so when I saw this latest offering called XR1 I had to grab a pair. The look is blend of both the NMD and Ultra boost style traditional styles with the knitted sneaker body and plastic detailing on the side, instead of having the 3 Adidas stripes these feature a triangle.They are, as you would expect very lightweight and comfortable to wear, the shape is slightly higher around the ankle which makes them almost like a hi-top – they look fantastic! I like any triple white sneaker and these are no exception; albeit there are some cream dashes in the knitted body (which you can see in some of the photos).

These Ultra BRs go for a mesh upper. They get some structure by having layers of mesh. At least, that’s how these appear to be constructed. The outsoles are different too. They seem to be built more closely to the nike air max 90 ultra italia when viewed from the bottom. All in all, the materials seem to be well put together and the knit appears to be of a good quality.These Nike Air Max 90 Ultra fit true to size and are very comfy. The knit upper makes these more lightweight than standard Air Max 90s. The shape on these is also decent right out of the box.No doubt Nike will generate some new modernized version of the Air Max 90 before we know it, so if you’re going to grab a pair of these, I recommend picking these up sooner rather than later. You never know when the sneaker world will move on and relegate these to a classic take on this silhouette. These things are so comfortable, I think most collectors don’t know what they’re missing!

The nike air max thea italia is a new addition to the Air Max family, a hybrid mix of Air Max and the minimalist Roshe Run. This style features a breathable upper, eva midsole and visible AirSole unit a perfect twist of comfort and style.Nike Air Max Thea is a mixture of the Nike Air Max trainer and the Roshe Run trainer. It features a white midsole with an AirSole unit, upper mesh for ultimate breathability and simplistic Hyperfuse panels.These trainers come in a variety of colours, however the trainers featured in this review are hyper pink and hyper cobalt blue. The wide range of colours means you can match your trainers with your gym/workout clothes.I love the Thea trainers. They are super comfy and make your feet bounce off the floor when walking or running. They support the whole of your foot well and don't rub. You can wipe them clean with a damp cloth, which easily removes any dirt making them look as good as new again.

We have to do a bit of time travel for this one, minus the Delorean and the good doctor. The date? November 30, 1978 to be exact. That’s when the first batch of Nike’ Air Tailwinds were shipped for the Honululu marathon. It was a scheme of grand audacity back then, to put an air bag inside a running shoe, an idea brought about by Frank Rudy and Bob Bogert – both of them ex-aerospace engineers. The original Tailwind was based on the nike roshe one uomo and ended up being a failure; not because of the air bags, but due to upper tear caused by the wrong choice of mesh paint. The years that followed had divided camps within Nike – groups for and against pushing forward Air as a technology.
