He is superb in the open field, something the Eagles realized all too well in last weeks 28-23 Giants victory.Beckham got a clean release off the line as cornerback Leodis McKelvin fell for a small juke. Beckham caught a short slant from Manning and then ran through a poor tackle attempt by Eagles safety Rodney McLeod for a 26-yard touchdown. Beckham broke a pair of tackles against the Ravens in Week 6. Early in the third quarter, Beckham caught a short pa s and then sidestepped a would-be tackle Terrelle Pryor Jersey from Chris Lewis-Harris because eluding another attempt by defensive back Lardarius Webb for an 11-yard gain. Jones is a very good open-field tackler. Against the Redskins in London, Jones came off a block to prevent Jamison Crowder from picking up a first down on third-and-22. The Bengals tried a wide receiver screen, and Crowder had blockers in front of him for what could have been a big gain. Instead, Jones got off DeSean Jackson's blockto trip up Crowder for an 11-yard gain. Jones never let Jackson get good contact by using his hands to push him off. That made it easier for him to shake loose of Jackson to get to Crowder. Jones and the Bengals know what they need to do to slow down Beckham.Executing that plan is easier said than done, but Jones has proven to be more than capable.
